A day in Florence

A DAY IN FLORENCE

If you don’t know from where to start visiting this great city of art, I will guide you in a few hours between bridges, alleys, medieval markets and Renaissance palaces, to give you the opportunity to appreciate the best of Florence.

We can start from Piazza del Duomo, situated between the white and green marbles of the Baptistery and the Cathedral, next to Giotto’s bell tower and under the brilliant dome of Brunelleschi. Then we will reach the ancient roman forum: Piazza della Repubblica. We will walk along the main shopping street to discover the Porcellino’s Market and Ponte Vecchio.

For sure, we will not forget Piazza della Signoria, the city hall square, rich of beautiful statues of the renaissance time. This walk will end at the Academy Museum with a masterpiece of Michelangelo: the David, or at the Uffizi Gallery between paintings of Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Caravaggio and so on…
